A Brief History of the Firm

The firm SBH WATER (formerly SB HYDROTEC) was established in 1994. Its main business activities are the development and production of machines and technologies for use in water management activities and, in particular, for biological wastewater treatment. In co-operation with the firm INVEST PROX, designs have been developed for the construction of a technology for biological wastewater treatment plants named SBH PROX. These designs are available in three size categories - small (from 100 to 5,000 equivalent inhabitants (EI)), medium (size up to 30,000 EI) and large (over 30,000 EI).

The technology and construction of these plants are protected by patents and customized design rights.

In 2004, our aeration technology - the HKA turbine - was awarded a gold for technology and quality in Geneva.
